Bealles At Camp

Ricky and I (Alyssa) have felt God leading us towards camp work since
working at Camp Chetek in Northern Wisconsin (where we met and got married).
One of our main conversations during that first year was our desire to pursue
Christian camp work, but we didn’t know where to begin! Ironwood’s
MinistryBound program was suggested to us by several people, and we prayed
about it and applied. We were accepted into the program, worked at Chetek again
the summer after we were married, and flew out to Ironwood a week after summer
camp ended.

Our year in the MinistryBound program taught us so much about camp work,
God, each other, and other people! It was amazing being a part of a team of
people solely dedicated to spreading the gospel! We were solidified in our
desire to pursue full-time camp work. We moved back to Wisconsin for a year and
a half when we found out we were expecting. We prayed for a more permanent form
of camp work during this time, and God answered our prayers! We are back out in California working at Ironwood again! We are so excited for this opportunity,
and we thank God every day for it!
